COVID-19 is affecting us. And we need your help.

The past few weeks have been filled with uncertainties for everyone—including our recovering clients. With compromised jobs and slashed incomes due to the Coronavirus, they are being challenged in major ways.

Our unique approach to lasting recovery requires clients to work in order to pay program fees. This delivers a vital sense of structure in their lives, as well as a source of income to help cover their room and board, group and individual sessions, and more. Program fees also help support our facility, staff, and overall expenses.

We at Serenity House are asking for your generous, replenishing donations as we provide resources to those in need from DuPage, Kane, Cook, Lake, Will, and Kendall County.

Facts:

60% of Serenity House residents work in the service industry where there have been layoffs due to COVID-19.
Many Serenity House residents can’t pay their program fees which help cover their room and board, therapy sessions, and more.
As many as 100 clients are now unable to pay their dues of $170 per week. That’s $17,000 a week impacting Serenity House as a whole.
