| Substance abuse treatment and prevention providers in Illinois are facing budget cuts that will have a catastrophic impact on future service delivery to the state's most vulnerable populations. These proposed budget cuts will decimate the substance abuse and prevention treatment system statewide. Existing facilities will be forced to discontinue programs and reduce staff, in some cases by 50%. Others will close their doors entirely, leaving thousands of individuals without any place to get help. |
