
Sober Living/Recovery Homes
Serenity House Recovery Homes are alcohol and drug-free homes whose guidelines, groups, and recovery management activities are directed toward maintenance of sobriety for persons in early recovery from substance use disorders. Residents focus on the development of essential skills necessary to maintain lasting recovery.
General Program Information:
Serenity House is comprised of 7 recovery homes. The 4 homes for men are all located in Addison. Women’s homes are located in Addison, Villa Park, and Naperville. Residents are able to focus on continuing the development of necessary skills to maintain long-lasting recovery, and become productive members of the community.
Residents are required to attend a minimum of 3 support group meetings a week.
Residents participate in a weekly 1-hour recovery management group with peers and a counselor. Discussions include talking about any issues they are encountering or an education on pertinent topics.
Admissions Information:
Residents are required to have a minimum of 90 days of sobriety upon entering the recovery home.

Following the assessment, individuals will be placed on a waitlist and will be notified when a bed becomes available.
