Intensive Outpatient is a highly structured, abstinence-based program designed to help individuals create a structure of recovery from substance use disorders. Serenity House employs an integrative approach, utilizing an evidence-based curriculum that includes Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to assist clients with their Substance abuse recovery program. Treatment consists of group and individual treatment, support group attendance, and drug testing. Clients attend IOP for 20–25 sessions for an average of 5–7 weeks.
