A quick look at the Recovery Homes Program
The Recovery Homes programs at Serenity House offer safe, sober, and affordable transitional housing for individuals in recovery. Utilities are included in the weekly fees; meals are the responsibility of the resident.

 
Fees

bullet 

If you did not complete the Serenity House Extended Residential Care program, then upon admission, $320.00 is requested, and covers the first weeks' fees ($120.00) and the Treatment Completion Incentive ($200.00). If you do not have the $200.00 Treatment Completion deposit, weekly fees are $140.00 for the first 10 weeks, then $105.00 per week thereafter.

Employment

Full-time employment must be secured within two weeks of admission.

bullet 

Residents not yet employed must be ready to seek employment from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Treatment /12-Step Support Group Attendance
bullet 

Mandatory group community sessions are held once each week from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. The day of each meeting varies according to location; check with your primary counselor.

bullet 

Residents are expected to attend a minimum of three 12-step support groups each week.

 
Phases
bullet 

Each resident begins at Phase I. Progression to a Phase II is dependent upon program compliance and current payment of fees. At Phase II, you are allowed two overnights passes per week.

 
Curfew
bullet 

Curfew times vary by individual and are based on program compliance and Phase Level.

 
Visitors
bullet 

Visitors are allowed Monday through Friday from 7:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sundays 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., except on evenings when group community sessions are being held.

Use of Vehicles

bullet 

Proof of insurance, vehicle registration, and a current Illinois driver's license must be verified before a vehicle may be brought on the premises.
